Effective from 3 March 2025 under Decision No. 28, Viet Chao officially implements a 10-year elevator warranty policy from the manufacturer directly to end users.

Optimised cost: The 10-year elevator warranty package is valued at VND 48,500,000, equivalent to VND 13,300 per day. This cost includes all replacement materials, installation labour and transport costs during use.

Replacing just a P1 main circuit board, a small board within the control cabinet, can cost approximately VND 20–60 million. A failed circuit board can stop the elevator suddenly. If the power module fails, the customer may need to replace an expensive inverter or even the entire control system.

Shanghai Mitsubishi traction machines have a service life of up to 20 years (15 million operations / 365 days × 2,000 operations per day), twice the national standard. According to manufacturer statistics, the traction machine of the LEHY-III-S elevator has a failure rate of only 0.08% (76 units requiring warranty service out of 89,790 elevators under contract).

Important notes

Warranty transfer applies when the original investor authorises another investor. The remaining warranty period and all conditions transfer to the new investor, protecting the user’s rights. This extended warranty becomes invalid immediately if:

• Remote monitoring is not enabled, or the elevator is not continuously connected to the network for more than 30 days
• The elevator is modified by a third party
• Third-party components are installed in the elevator
